we had a rather relaxing weekend. friday evening we met friends of ours at this small & cozy italian restaurant. we had SO much fun (thank you, guys). we even got a special cake made for us:
and i think this was THE BEST cake EVER!! it’s white sponge cake with cream & custard (i think) and fresh fruit on the top & inside and then chocolate all around the cake. it was pretty AMAZING.
we had so much fun on friday; we ate GREAT food, had EXCELLENT company & listened to live music (he is a jazz / swing singer – and sang at our friends wedding about 2 years ago).

for valentines day – we NEVER make a big deal we just enjoy the evening together & relax. thanks hubby for my fantastic card & hope you enjoyed the dinner. here is a few pictures
