this will be the first time i'm participating in Tova's Totally Awkward Tuesday, here's my story

luckily this story didn't happen to me but it's so funny (and totally awkward) that i have to share it.

about 7 years ago, when i arrived in the UK - i went to live and work in scotland at a hotel (hated it!) but in anyway, we (me & the rest of the employees at the hotel) worked and lived in the hotel and for that reason we could also use the gym facilities.

2 of my friends were sitting in the sauna and relaxing when a very 'fit' guy walks in and sit down.

they (the 2 girls) are from south africa and can also speak 2 languages (english & afrikaans), and because they want to 'discuss' how good-looking and sexy this guy is they decided to speak to each other in afrikaans (so that the guy can't understand them).

in length they discussed how absolutely gorgeous he is and that he can come over to their rooms anytime he wants (this 'discussion' went on for about 15-20 minutes - while the guy is sitting an arm's length away from them).

then he gets up to walk out and turn around to the girls and say to them in PERFECT afrikaans: 'good day ladies, enjoy the rest of your day'

for the rest of his stay (another 2 weeks) the girls walked all the little back allays and corridors to make sure they don't run into him again.
