i know it’s a day late but there is a good reason for that.  we decided to have a game night once a week with no laptops, iphones, ipads or tv’s.  the reason for this is that since we both only get home around 7 in the evening & then you have to do tasks like dinner, dishes, lunches for next day, tiding up and in-between that watching tv, catching up on emails etc. it always feels like there is no time in the evening for just US – spending some quality time together and talking about our day (this normally happens when we are in bed or when we are having dinner).  SO we can still do the talking thing every evening but it’s time to spend some quality time with the husband without interruptions & him not listening because his attention is with his ipad or with watching some program or sports.

we played uno, tried to play ‘go fish’ & tried ‘snap’ (but wayne cheats at this one ).  we had lovely cheesy pizza, very tiny cookies, diet coke with lemon and then wayne showed his different faces for losing (middle photo) & when he is winning (last photo).

oh and for what i made? did you notice the autumn garland on the first 2 photos?  i got the idea for elsie.  here is another photo of mine:
