this little mister just LOVES cats, and the saddest thing is that we don't even have one.  every time he sees one he meows, it is just the cutest thing.

here is a little clip {taken on 3 Sep} of riley looking at our neighbours cats.

have a fantastic weekend!

halloween is around the corner and there are so many cute things in all the shops. we are so excited about it this year since riley is a little bit older now and will be able to take part and enjoy in the halloween festivities.

here is a couple of cute things i found:  (links on the bottom of the image)

i found this old primark shopping bag and decided that i wanted to change it up a little bit.

i added a lining (pink and white) on the inside and also a pocket.  i braided some pink t-shirt material and add it as the straps.

i am very proud of how it turned out.  i can't wait to start using it as our library bag.  and i can't wait to make some more.

i love this cute little lion, kissy face little mister

{video clip taken on 2 Oct}

this little man LOVES to see himself in mirrors, camera screens or just about anything that can show his reflection.  we have this little ritual when i take him out of the bath, that he looks at himself in the mirror on his way to his room and make faces and give himself a big smile.  i love it!!

its quite chilly here at the moment, so we are looking forward to a weekend of hot drinks, hats and scarves.

have a fun weekend!!

now that it's getting colder and we can pull out our winter gear, we can't wait for riley to wear his winter hats again. he looks adorable in a hat and luckily doesn't mind them on his head.

i found all these cute hats and i think number 4 is my favourite (the batman hat) and riley has number 2 (lion hat), see here, here and here.

this weeks photos on my phone taken by me & nina.

this is a very long overdue post about our trip to windsor for my birthday.

we decided to take the train to windsor for the day on my birthday, way back in july.  it's a very old town with the impressive windsor castle overlooking the town.   the castle is huge with houses, chapel and the castle where the royal family still lives.

here is a few of the photos (between me and nina, we took about 500 photos).  when you buy your tickets for the castle at the gate, you are allowed to have a free visit to the castle - we can't wait to return and see more of the castle.

hope you all had a great weekend!

i've decided that from now on every friday will have a life of riley video.

i have hundreds of videos on my phone and laptop and most of them are so cute that our loved ones have to see them.  a photo is just a snapshot of a second of riley's life, where a video clip has the sound and movement for the family back home to feel a bit closer to riley (even if most of the clips are not even longer than 1min).

have a great weekend!

this weeks fashion for a boy will be from George (ASDA – in UK or WALMART0 in US).

i love all the action hero clothes they have, especially the batman shoes (riley will look so cute in those).  and the skull wellington boots are just so adorable.  now that he can walk around, i should definitely get him a pair of wellingtons for the winter rainy season.

like i said in last weeks fashion for a little boy, i think that boys clothes are so adorable, and this just proves it.

until next week!
